And the Days Go On
I'm still here...still caring for my mom. She was up for a few hours this morning, then said she was tired and went back to sleep. I am spending the time keeping the house clean, reading library books (I finished Sue Henry's The Serpent's Tooth, which I didn't like as much as the Jessie Arnold books, and am in the middle of an Abigail Adams biography, Dearest Friend and a book called Pretty Bubbles in the Air, about America after World War I), and dubbing off more videotapes to DVD. Gotten various things done, including some Disney documentaries, the PBS series Television and The Story of English, a bunch of blooper specials, and am now doing The Day The Universe Changed (any other James Burke fans here? here's a fan companion for him).

I've been keeping up with your blog. It soulds like you are doing quite well with your mom. I know it can be tiring caring for someone who can't do it themselves. Don't feel guilty when you need some time out. Sounds like you are getting a lot of extra help from local friends and of course James. :-)

*perks* Disney documentaries? I vaguely remember some of the animal ones . But it's been eons. Anything good? :-)

They're actually documentaries ABOUT Disney or Disney films: It All Started With a Mouse, 50 Years of Magic, and A Legacy in Song. I wish I had more of the animal stuff, too, both the True-Life Adventures (which are supposed to come out as a Treasure), and the neat animal stories from the Sunday show, which I wish they'd release as a Treasure, like "Flash the Teenage Otter," etc. I have a few: "Run, Appaloosa, Run," "The Horse With the Flying Tail," "The Tattooed Police Horse," and "Little Shepherd Dog of Catalina."
